Climate Catastrophe Escape Room

The Climate Catastrophe Escape Room may be easily set up indoors or outdoors. It’s suitable for any and all age groups and may be borrowed for events, schools, and parties. Participants are given 15 minutes to save Victoria from a terrible fate. They do this by retrofitting a home.

A Just Transition – After 2030, all new space and water heating equipment sold and installed in B.C. will be at least 100%
efficient (i.e. electric resistance heating, heat pumps, and hybrid electric heat pump-gas systems) (https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/environment/climate-change/action/cleanbc/cleanbc_roadmap_2030.pdf) This requires planning on the part of buildings currently relying on gas to heat spaces and/or water. We’re working with apartment dwellers, stratas and others to assist with this transition and publicize funding opportunities as BC expands the heat pump program to make it more affordable for people with low and middle incomes.
